Electronics damaged by smoke are immediately wiped down to prevent the discolouring effects of contaminants. Electronics damaged by water can be coated with dielectric demoisturant protectant to prevent further deterioration. Electrical and electronics damaged by contaminants can be coated with special contact cleaners to prevent additional damage.

Itech Electronics Restoration ensures mandatory inventory control measures. Signed inventory documents are left on site and copies taken back to our restoration facility.

Once in Itech Electronics Restoration's facility, electronics are placed in a large drying room with controlled heat and dehumidification, considered part of the stabilization process, in order to prevent any further deterioration and corrosion of essential components.

Is the item worth restoring? If not, why? Are there any pre existing conditions?

Electronics cannot be properly restored without being disassembled. The scope and extent of disassembly required is dependant on the severity and type of contaminant.

Volume and pressure controlled aqueous systems are used to thoroughly air wash, water & detergent wash, rinse and air dry once more removing all contaminants using non corrosive environmentally friendly chemicals.

Large appliances and electronics are put in our washing station and the same procedures as above are applied.

Electronics are put into drying chambers set at 115 degrees Fahrenheit and left for 15 to 24 hours to ensure all components are completely moisture free and deodorized.

A dust free area is provided to ensure all components are not contaminated during the re-assembly process.

All electronics are fully inspected and tested to confirm the completion of the reclamation process.

All items are carefully and protectively packaged for delivered back to the general restoration contractor or the loss location as instructed.

Detailed estimates created stipulating recovered items and non recovered items complete with a current day replacement cost if applicable.
